There are wedding days that feel like they were written in the stars — and Patrick & Abolaji’s was exactly that. On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, the skies over Pittsburgh were brilliantly clear, the air was crisp yet comfortable, and the city seemed to sparkle just a little brighter.
The weather on September 10th could not have been more ideal. With bright skies, comfortable temperatures, and just enough breeze to play with Abolaji’s veil, it was the kind of day photographers dream about. Every outdoor portrait had the glow of late summer light — warm, golden, and timeless.
The morning began at the Omni William Penn Hotel, an icon of Pittsburgh elegance since 1916. Inside its historic walls — filled with chandeliers, marble details, and old-world charm — Patrick and Abolaji prepared for the day ahead. Each moment was filled with anticipation: Abolaji stepping into her sleek white gown, Patrick straightening his tie, both surrounded by laughter and encouragement from their closest loved ones.
From the William Penn, we walked through the heart of downtown to the Allegheny County Courthouse — one of the most striking architectural treasures in the city. Designed by H. H. Richardson in the late 1800s, its Richardsonian Romanesque style is characterized by heavy stone arches, intricate carvings, and breathtaking vaulted ceilings.
Inside, light streamed through tall windows, illuminating the marble steps and arches — the perfect stage for a love story. Patrick and Abolaji exchanged vows with family and friends gathered close, some traveling from afar to be here for this moment.
Just four months earlier, on May 20th, 2025, Patrick had proposed at the West End Overlook with the Pittsburgh skyline stretched behind them. To stand in front of the courthouse now, pledging forever, felt like the beautiful culmination of that perfect “yes.”
After sealing their vows, the celebration moved to LeMont, a fine-dining landmark perched on Mount Washington since 1960. Known for its panoramic views of Pittsburgh’s rivers and bridges, LeMont is one of those places where the city itself becomes part of the celebration.
The elegant interiors, combined with the warmth of family and friends, made the luncheon feel both intimate and grand. Toasts were shared, laughter filled the room, and Patrick & Abolaji’s joy radiated through every glance and smile.
Patrick and Abolaji’s wedding was more than a ceremony. It was the union of two souls who have embraced every step of their journey, from proposal to vows in just four short months. Capturing their day at such iconic Pittsburgh landmarks — the William Penn, the Allegheny Courthouse, and LeMont — was an absolute honor.
To Patrick & Abolaji: may your marriage be filled with the same joy and light that surrounded you on your wedding day.
