Dan & Liz + Lucy & Jelly
I first met Dan and Liz on their wedding day—February 1st, 2025—at the breathtaking Bedford Springs. With its vintage charm and timeless elegance, the venue felt like something out of a classic love story. The ceremony was intimate, surrounded by just a small circle of family, but every detail felt rich with love and intention.
A few months later, they hosted a charming reception at Brady’s Run Lodge in Beaver County. The space may have been small, but their love for each other, their families, and the people who showed up to celebrate with them made the atmosphere feel incredibly full. I had the honor of photographing that celebration on May 16th, 2025—and it was nothing short of wonderful.
But like many couples, Dan and Liz realized later that they wanted more portraits of just the two of them—especially with their beloved dogs, Lucy and Jelly. So we planned a follow-up session outdoors, where they could be themselves: playful, affectionate, and surrounded by nature.
And what a session it was.
Dan and Liz weren’t just down for a little adventure—they fully embraced it. We waded into the creek, danced in the rain, and shared so many laughs while Lucy and Jelly stole the show (as pups tend to do). These two are the kind of couple who live in the moment, who hold hands through the mud and kiss in the downpour—and those are the love stories that stick with you.
It was a joy to capture their story again, and I absolutely can’t wait to see them next time at Bedford Springs.
Until then—keep dancing in the rain.
