This session was everything I love about photography—pure energy, sunshine, and a family that radiates joy. I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Casey and Mike’s engagement session alongside their beautiful, fun-loving family at the picturesque Simmons Farm, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
From the very first shutter click, it was clear—this family is full of life, laughter, and love. Whether they were skipping through flower rows, snuggling in tall grass, or bursting into giggles mid-hug, the connection between them was undeniable. Their two sweet girls and awesome son brought such a playful spirit to the shoot, making every frame feel genuine and alive.
And let’s talk about that light.
As the sun began to dip low, it bathed the hills in a dreamy golden glow that photographers dream about. The way the sunlight kissed Casey’s dress, danced in the kids’ hair, and wrapped around Mike’s embrace—it was truly sun-kissed perfection. The warmth of the light matched the warmth of this family, and together, they made magic.
Casey and Mike’s love story is as beautiful as the scenery. Their bond is effortless and full of laughter. Whether they were walking hand-in-hand through the flowers or wrapped up in a quiet moment, their love shone through every photo.
I’m already counting down the days until June 6th, 2026, when I get to capture their wedding day at The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres—a venue as stunning as their connection. It’s going to be an unforgettable day, and I’m so grateful they’ve trusted me to be a part of it.
Thank you, Casey and Mike, for letting me freeze these joyful moments in time. This engagement and family session was a reminder of why I do what I do—and why golden hour will always be my favorite hour.
With warmth and excitement,
Scott and Amy Jennings
