Lauren & Rich | A Romantic Day at Patterson Park

This was Lauren and Rich’s second time in front of our cameras, and this time, the weather couldn’t have been more perfect—bright blue skies, soft sunshine, and the kind of warmth that sets the scene for pure romance.

Set in the heart of Baltimore, Patterson Park is often called the “Best Backyard in Baltimore.” With over 300 years of history, it has been a gathering place for communities since the 1800s, once serving as a site during the War of 1812. Today, it’s one of the city’s most beloved green spaces, with rolling lawns, beautiful stonework, and the iconic Pagoda tower that overlooks the city. The spiral staircase leading up to the tower has its own charm—it feels like stepping into a storybook.

Lauren’s radiant red hair glowed against the greenery and stone backdrops, giving every photo a magical, almost ethereal quality. Together, she and Rich have an undeniable connection—their laughter, their gentle embraces, and the way they move together speaks volumes. It’s the kind of love that feels both timeless and powerful.

There’s no denying that these two give off serious fairytale energy. Between the castle-like stone walls, the winding staircase of the tower, and the lush green pathways, the entire session felt like scenes straight out of a Tolkien novel. Rich looking up at Lauren perched above him could have been pulled right from a storybook, and the way they twirled and ran down the tree-lined paths brought a sense of adventure and joy to the day.
